Offered in partnership with Sonoma State University, the CANDEL program is intended primarily for working professionals in leadership positions and can be completed within three years. Within a cohort system, students will rely on their collective experiences to supplement the formal learning process and will be enrolled in a common sequence of core courses. Approximately equal numbers of students in each cohort will focus either on pre-schoolgrade 12 issues or on higher education leadership with a community college emphasis. Program delivery methods will include traditional classroom instruction as well as distance-learning components to further support working professionals' needs. Occasional seminars and workshops during the week require a flexible schedule and a supportive professional environment.

This is a Departmentally-based Graduate Program.
