Requirements

  • Three letters of recommendation
  • GRE general and math subject (M.A., Ph.D.)

Research areas include algebra, analysis, applied mathematics, differential equations, geometry, mathematical physics, numerical analysis, optimization, probability and topology. The M.A. program requires courses covering abstract algebra, real and complex analysis and additional graduate courses. The Ph.D. program requires a dissertation consisting of original research in mathematics.
